FINALLY FINISHED!!!!!!
I’m stoked to get this one done.
This was out of a 1000lb tigershark that was a mates first shark, it was also caught on the same boat I got my first tigershark on 3 owners later.

This was up there with the hardest I’ve ever done, its gums are 80% epoxy, the teeth kept dropping out, it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it in a tiger.

It took me near 6 months to get it done, that included a couple of weeks of me putting it down to have a break.

It’s not the shape I aim for but nature is nature and i think I’m actually a fan of the final shape.

Either way, happy to see the end of this one.

They have had the blur removed and cleaned up, ive never been one to print photos out but im thinking these will be going on the wall very soon, (no hooks in baits). My absolute favorite underwater photos!!!!!

Here’s a few of the pics I got through the winter season, it’s time to sort the boat out now to get back into the bull sharks in the near future.

I’ve named the fish and the beaches the photos were captured on these ones.

The great whites outnumbered other species on the beaches at 6:1 this winter.

Hope you enjoy the pictures as much as I enjoyed experimenting with the camera and underwater filming.

I LOVE this video!!!!!
I’ll more than likely never get to ride gracefully through the murky waters on the back of a great white shark, so I’ll live vicariously through my camera’s experience.

Here’s the good one, the whole food chain showed up for the casting today. We have banjo sharks(rays) shovel nose sharks(ray) yakkas and of course the whales provide the sound track.

Got the 1 shark on camera this morning in the dirty water,it was a great white again!!!!
So I put the baits out real wide the next few drops and the underwater life out there was crazy, I can’t be the only one who finds this stuff relaxing, I could watch it all day, im pretty sure you can hear whales in the background as well!!!!

Well, after extensive research and grueling conditions, I can confirm for all the ones that need to write it on every shark post, that yes sharks do inhabit the water. I’m sure this won’t stop the comments at all but i just hope all the regular people on this page, feel the same way about them comments as I do.

Well the inevitable finally happened this week and we had a go pro destroyed.

I’m actually shocked that it lasted this long, but while Kristy wasn’t looking, I accidentally bought another 2.

Anyway, I’ve made up a new trace to see if I can get the bait off the bottom just enough to get some better angles of the fish.

There’s been a lot of people saying

“who would have thought, sharks in the water” this week!!!!

So I thought I’ll give the new camera a run at some stage to try prove to these, simply existing individuals , that sharks do in fact actually live in the water.

Was great to do an arvo up the beach with Lewis last night, we were plagued by rat whalers all arvo having all our baits demolished within a few hours, it always makes it more exciting knowing your being watched by the local mungo dingo population while your sitting in the dark waiting for a bite, this healthy looking fella got a bit close a few times.

Here’s the best shark deterrent out there, A bigger shark.
After recent events I’ve been asked if I know is the shark deterrent devices that are on the market work.
The truth is, I don’t know, I’m not usually trying to scare them away.

Having the platform that I do, if there’s anyone out there who manufactures the deterrent bands, and stands behind their efficiency and is willing to risk losing one, I’d be happy to strap one to a mullet and send it out there.
Only thing is I will not under any circumstance, falsely review your product as I’ll video the whole thing, it would be great advertising if it works, and I think the interest would be massive, there’s nothing in it for me, it’s just something I have been peppered with the last few days.

I usually only share this stuff to the sub page, but here’s a little snippet of one of the great whites from yesterday, (NO HOOK ON TRACE), after this one, I went home as it was clear I wasn’t going to be able to catch another species with this many white sharks around!!!!! For those who love this stuff, enjoy it, and those that don’t, well, don’t.

Here’s the video of the white shark from yesterday swimming around in the shallows, I didn’t even have a bait in at this stage, and absolutely NO burley, the reason I share this is so people can make informed choices for themselves.
