Here’s the post I’ve been waiting for.

Here’s the difference of IN VS OUT!!!!

This was the bull shark i caught on the beach, it was 3.03m total length.

Im still Amazed by the species and how they are able to retract their teeth to the point where it looks like they have none.

Most sharks are similar and retract their jaw but the bull is by far the most effective at hiding the teeth.

The jaw on the board is the same shark as in the picture.

They are by far my favorite set these days and can be caught anywhere.

It’s not often I get to work on my own anymore but I wanted to rush these ones out to give everyone an idea of the size of the business end of a 3m bull shark.

The reason we have posted a bit more
About them lately is people are reading more articles after the tragic events, the fact that people are paying more attention gives us a chance to actually give people a visual of what they are reading about in the news and understand more about the true nature of the bullshark.

Thanks again for overlooking the constant complaining in the comments section lately and they will move on soon enough and we will be back to laughs and fun.

Here is the final product we are left after the sharks we catch.

I have only just finished working on last nights shark now.

Nothing is wasted at all, every part of sharks we catch are fully utilized.

Catching sharks is great fun, the long process that follows, not so much!!!

The dusky ended up being a blacktip 😂😂😂. We have just finished processing this one, nice little one about 60/70kg, perfect for a freezer filler for the boys coming upto Xmas. There’s not one bit of this one that will go to waste.

The lives were fun, we will definitely do that again.

Since people are finally acknowledging that bullsharks exist, I thought I would show a couple of photos of the teeth these guys are working with.
They hide the teeth so well that you wouldn’t think they had any, once the gum retracts, they are a whole different beast!!!!!

This is the one from yesterday. It has a great setx and isn’t missing Any at all, this was a 3m female bull.

Very similar shape to small Great whites teeth!!!!!

AWARNESS POST 2025/2026!!!!!!!!!

I usually so this one a bit later in the year, but after this mornings first ever double attack on the mid north coast, I’m doing it now!!!!

As I always say, I’m not a scientist of any kind and don’t have a fancy bit of paper to my name, so take this as you will. This is just from my experience.

At this time of the year, there are 3 main types of sharks close to the coast. the TIGER,WHITE and BULL sharks.

All 3 of these have been responsible for fatal attacks and are the top 3 predators in the shark world.

While people are worried about whites and tigers, the Bull is by far the worst.

At this time of the year, they drop their pups in the rivers all down NSW coast and head back out on the beaches to travel to the south. They are big have a wild set of teeth and are in numbers that fisherman, commercial and recreational have never experienced before.

My personal opinion is that by having more sharks in a small area.m, they will compete for food, this will make them become more opportunistic and aggressive in their feeding, possibly leading to them attacking more people this season.

Whites and tigers are what they are, they travel the same path but not in the numbers the bulls do.

You get these people saying “stay out of the water”. People deserve to swim and enjoy the Aussie lifestyle, but they also deserve to know that despite the “experts” saying the sharks are in poor numbers that they are more than plentiful on the NSW coast and they are a REAL threat.

Once again. We give our deepest condolences to today’s victims and families, but hopefully if this gets shared around enough. People will start to make decisions based on reality, not what they read in prefabricated surveys.

the pics below are of a white, bull and tiger

Our thoughts go out to the 2 victims of this mornings shark attack on the mid north coast.

It’s horrible to hear but they are saying one person has lost their life and another has serious injuries.

Our thoughts are with the families of those affected ❤️.

With this weekends “EVENT” taking place in Newcastle harbour, I thought I would do the right thing and remind people of the size of some of the bullsharks we have caught locally.

The paddle people and their blow up kayaks will be blocking the harbour for the weekend for their yearly learn to swim class and once a year “day in the sun”, and it’s only right that I make them aware of what’s in there so they can make informed decisions 🤦🏻‍♂️.

If you know, you know.

Blue hair everywhere.

BIG bullsharks are by far the most fun you can have in summer shark season, these guys are like a tiger with a makos attitude.
Some of the shows they have given us at the side in the boat over the years have been unbelievable. Lucky the old tinny is still holding up enough to get one last season out of her!!!!!
