I’m okay with being misunderstood if it means doing right by the people I love most. šŸ¤

Becoming a mom changes what you’re afraid of.
It’s not dying.
It’s the thought of leaving your kids in a world where you can’t protect them.
Not being there to step in.
Not being the one making sure they’re okay.

You don’t expect life to be perfect for them.
You just hope people treat them gently when you’re not around.

It’s a kind of worry you start carrying the day you become a parent…and it never really shuts off.

Different role. Same heart.
Maybe even more joy now šŸ¤

This is so important.

Everyone talks about choosing the right father for your kids.
But postpartum is where you really learn the difference between having a partner and feeling alone in the same house.

It’s not about grand gestures.
It’s about patience on the hard days.

Someone who doesn’t rush your healing or make you feel guilty for needing rest.

Someone who steps in before you even have the energy to ask.

Someone who notices you haven’t eaten, haven’t slept, haven’t felt like yourself.

That kind of support stays with you long after the newborn stage is over.

It shapes how safe you feel becoming a mother.

You ever just look at him and know he’s carrying more than he says?
The pressure to provide.
The mental load.

The late nights, the early mornings, the quiet sacrifices.
And somehow, even in the tired... he’s still there.
Still showing up for you.

For the kids.
For the home you’re building together.

He may not always say how hard it is.
And he might not realize how deeply he’s seen.
But mamas-we see them.

Let’s remind them. Let’s speak life over them.
And if your home is walking through a heavy season, just know this:
You’re not the only one navigating the weight.
But you’re not doing it alone, either.

ā€œYou should let them take the baby to the nursery….ā€

No thanks.

Tell me I’m not the only one who didn’t sleep at all that first night after giving birth.

Not because of the pain.
Not even the adrenaline.

But because I couldn’t stop looking at my BABY. 🄹

My whole body was wrecked — but my heart was absolutely wired.

Staring at this perfect little human like,
ā€œI can’t believe I made you.ā€ 😭

And it wasn’t just with my first.
It was with all of them.
Every time. 🄰

That first night changes you.
And you never really go back.ā¤ļø
