Some days, I look at my kids and think about how much life they’re going to live side-by-side with the inside jokes, the arguments, the growing pains, the memories they won’t even realize are shaping them.

And it reminds me to slow down and keep speaking life into their bond. To remind them that even when friends change and seasons shift… they still have each other.

Because giving our kids a teammate for life is one of the sweetest gifts we can nurture as moms. 🫶

Some grief lives quietly in motherhood.
The kind where you ache for the moments that will never be. The ones where someone you loved would’ve wrapped your baby in their arms and loved them like only they could.

And while life moves forward, those tender what-ifs never fully leave.

Some of the richest parts of my life aren’t about money at all…
but about having a partner who supports the things that matter deeply to me.
Being home with my kids has been one of those things and I’m grateful I never had to fight to be understood.🙏🏻

Some of us grew up with grandparents who couldn’t get enough of us—always showing up, always making time, always loving the chaos. Others of us didn’t. And both experiences leave a mark.

What I’m learning is this: the way someone shows up in the role of “grandparent” often says a lot about how they once showed up as “parent.” And while we can’t change what we received, we can decide what we’ll give.

Some of us grew up with women who quietly set the standard—
the ones who made every house feel like home,
who taught us that love looks like showing up, feeding others, and making space for rest.

And now here we are… raising our own little ones,
trying to become for them what she was for us.

If you had (or have) a woman like that in your life — one who lit the way for your motherhood —
you know what a gift that is. ❤️
