Introducing Small Business Sunday ✨️

Lately I’ve been thinking about how much mums hold, not just the daily tasks, but the emotional weight of figuring out who and what can really support us through pregnancy, birth, postpartum and beyond.

And it reminded me of something simple and true:
we’re not meant to do this alone.
We’re meant to have a village.

So I’m starting something new here…

Each Sunday (or whenever it feels right), I’ll gently share a small, local business that supports mamas in a meaningful way.

"All the girls in my class are pretty" Harry said to me the other day, so matter-of-factly.

He’s 10.

And it made me teary, because he’s growing up, yes. But also because he’s learning to see beauty in everyone.

When mamas come to me, often a little self-conscious, I get it. I really do.

But I promise you… I don’t see what you’re worried about.

I see your smile.

The glint in your eye.

The way your family looks at you like you’re the whole world.

And I hope, just for a moment, you get to see that too 🖤

P.s. When I asked Harry if he ever chats to the girls, his reply? "Nah, I just say OK and keep playing soccer"

There’s no such thing as “too late” for newborn photos.

Some babies arrive early.
Some need a little extra time in the NICU.
Some mamas need a longer recovery.

And all of that is okay.

I’ll always hold space for whatever your journey looks like—because your session should feel like a moment to breathe, not another thing on your to-do list.

Older newborns are just as sweet, just as worthy, just as magical.
And honestly?
One of my favourite things is watching their little personalities start to shine.

No pressure. No rush.
Just you, your baby, and a story worth remembering.
