Soooooo looking forward to hanging out with Fiona Dick ( left) at the .ladies.australia x x Ladies Day Out this Saturday.

Fi will be doing skills coaching on the trails, I’ll be running some mental skills sessions afterwards. Heeeeeeeaps of other goodness on offer too! πŸ₯³

Fun fact: these photos, from a super fun shoot with at Manly Dam, were taken ten years ago in November. The purple kit I’m wearing was part of the original launch range. I love that this brand has been creating quality gear for women riders since they began, never as an afterthought.

Can’t wait to hang out at the DHaRCO HQ on Saturday evening with a whole bunch of riders I’m also looking forward to seeing/meeting on the day and reflect on how the Sydney riding scene has grown and developed since that time as part of a Q and A session.

HMBA are excited to offer the opportunity to attend a workshop run by Cognitive Performance Coach (and HMBA Member) Dr Kath Bicknell (PS - you may have even seen some of her articles in AMB too).

It's on Wednesday 15/10/2025 at Club Macquarie Argenton - it starts around 7.00pm so plenty of time to get there early and grab a bite to eat.

$20 per person and we are limited to 30 participants - get in early as we already know of a lot of people keen to learn some simple, practical strategies that are guaranteed to make them faster than you 😁

Some lovely news to finish the week with is I was recently accepted into the .mentoring.networking program. A community of incredible women in the international cycling industry supporting other incredible (up and coming) women in the cycling industry. 🫢🏻🫢🏻🫢🏻

Really excited to join this delightfully diverse community as a mentee and looking forward to some excellent mentor chats.

Wearing all the hats is mighty challenging while running my own business. I am excited for the expanded sense of community as well as the chance to upgrade my marketing and business skills.

Happy New AMB Day! In this issue, I wrote about the importance of the body awareness we develop on the bike, and how it prompts us to take good care of ourselves *off* the bike.

Congrats to the Australian Mountain Bike Magazine team on another bumper photo awards issue.

Another highlight is a five-page article on autistic, ADHD and AuDHD experiences in the sport. It's great to see the increasing number of conversations people are having about their minds and internal experiences these days, and the role of bikes in supporting more of the things they love and enjoy. 🧠✌
