Had a double take after looking at this photo of Skoota and Roxy.

Looks like Skoota has eaten a small dog.... but it is just an optical illusion with his own tail. Jet is lucky Skoota is a pushover 🤣🤣

We have been having a few of those months where nothing seems to go to plan. Life just has other ideas with family or animal emergencies and then there has been the wet weather and mud, endless mud.

Being unable to do much with all the mud, we have been watching season 3 of Clarkson's farm and we just have to laugh because some if it is so like us lot trying to get things done in the paddock.

Luckily everything seems to workout OK in the end and we all need to laugh at ourselves sometimes 🤪

Life seems to fly by right before our eyes while we are busy doing other things.

I attended a funeral yesterday for a friend's elderly father and during the memories slide show it included some of his words of wisdom from his final days.

His most important thing was "Family first, above all else". He had a large family and it was beautiful to see them all supporting each other and celebrating the memories of a life well lived with his friends.

So this weekend I am going to forget the housework and spend some quality time with my family. Hug them a little longer and just enjoy whatever we get up to. I hope you take some time out to do the same 💜

Loving my new feed cart. I can even fit all 12 feeds on when I stack the buckets. Makes feed time a bit quicker especially when I am on my own.

Has an exciting Mother's day. Out with Mum and the boys ten pin bowling. Duckie has a podium finish coming third.... (don't know where that competitive streak comes from 😁)

Then come home to feed the crew and missing a horse.... that heart stopping moment when you have been calling out and everyone else is up 😱
Jordan went walking for 1km out the back and found Patch next door across the drain in the bushy part. He was so happy to see Jordan and the lead rope to guide him home. Lucky no injuries. 🥳
