A lot of people ask me what it’s like to be a surface pattern designer, so I thought it would be easier to just show you. When inspiration strikes, I love sketching, designing patterns on my iPad, developing collections, and seeing those designs come to life on fabric, wallpaper, and other products. There’s something so rewarding about turning an idea into a pattern that can transform a space or become part of someone’s everyday life.
But designing is only part of what I do.
I’m also passionate about teaching other creatives how to build their own design skills. As a Top Teacher on Skillshare, I love sharing my workflow, techniques, and behind-the-scenes process so others can learn how to create art and designs that they’re proud of too.
