It’s not every day that a three-storey 1870’s Victorian manor hits the real estate market but if anyone was going to find the untapped beauty in a grand yet dilapidated property in the heart of Newcastle, it was Prue Swain. With an uncanny knack for spotting diamonds in the rough, and a proven track record for turning a whiff of an idea into a golden reality, Prue had spotted the gothic mansion in the For Sale section on a weekend visit to Newcastle.
