Originated from ShareC1 LiDAR SLAM scanner high density (37Mil) point cloud and onboard cameras, approx. 2600sqm.
Processed with PointCloud Studio (beta) to 5M Gaussians.
Whilst this is early days Beta, it clearly shows the potential for Digital Twins when it comes to creating engaging content for public consultation, showcasing of as-built environments, etc. I will share the actual 3D model at a later date.

High precision LiDAR point cloud meets 3DGS: Here's a quick in-situ comparison of both outputs. And yes, you can keep the point cloud, process locally, generate the 3DGS, and not pay subscription fees ;-) What you're seeing here is from probably Australia's first Share3DCAM C1 Spacial Camera. The Blue Mountains Botanic Gardens at Mount Tomah are spectaculous even in summer. Have to make sure to see this gem throughout the seasons, there is always something new to discover (trust the gardeners!)

As we live in a 3D world, it's best to see 3D in 3D to get a better understanding of subject and context.
