The repairs should occur between 30 June and 4 July 2025, but this is subject to change. We will keep you posted with any updates or if anything changes.

🎡Meet Our President - Jim Alexander 🎡

Jim first joined the Kaniva Show Committee after helping organise the Melbourne Cup event a few years back. What started as lending a hand turned into something bigger - now he’s leading the charge as our Show President.

What does he love most about the Show?
“The way it brings people of all ages together - and seeing everyone happy at the fireworks at the end of the night.”

Why give back to the community?
“If people don’t, nothing happens. You get a lot of pleasure from giving, and sometimes you don’t realise that until you start. That’s what keeps events like the Kaniva Show going.”

Thanks, Jim, for all that you do! 👏

|| WORKSAFE COUNTRY CLUB GAME ||

The Nhill & District Sporting Club are excited to be hosting the WorkSafe Country Club Game against Ararat on Saturday, June 21st. This is a fantastic opportunity for the club, and demonstrates that our sporting club brings more than just sport to our local community.

The WorkSafe Country Club Game will put our community in the spotlight throughout the week, with Thursday and Saturday visits from Western Bulldogs 2016 premiership player Tom Boyd as well as some Melbourne Vixens players.

On the evening of Tuesday, 17th of June, all members of the community 15 years and older are invited to the club to participate in the Sport And Life Training session (SALT). This session will cover the importance of mental health and wellbeing (see attached flyer for more information).

The session will begin at 6.45pm.

There will also be an optional BBQ dinner available from 6pm. This will cost $10 for adults and $5 for kids.

All players and coaches are expected to attend and we encourage all club members and the general public to come along.
