My business recently turned 2 years 🥳🎉

2 years of building something online from scratch, with zero experience. And over a full year of travelling full-time while doing it.

So grateful for everything it’s given me - and everything still to come - simply because I took a chance and bet on the future I wanted, not the one I thought I had to pretend to be happy about.

How many years do you have to spend becoming something before you’re “allowed” to change your mind?

I spent 5–6 years studying to become an architect. And for a while, that made changing direction feel almost ridiculous.

But those years were already spent. The question was whether I was going to let them decide the next 50 too.

It’s okay to be the engineer who became a painter. The doctor who became a surfer. The physicist who became a DJ. The architect who started working online.

You’re allowed to outgrow something you once worked really freakin’ hard for.

Because what’s the bigger waste - changing direction after 5 years, or spending the next 50 doing something that doesn’t make you happy?
