Yes, I spent 5-6 years and £90k on a degree I am no longer using 🙊
Do I wish I didn’t get my degree? Absolutely not. I’ve lived in four contries, made friends all over the world, and had some of my best (and worst) times while studying architecture. It’s taught me SO many of the skills I use in my business today ✨
Do I enjoy architecture? I love my field, I love the creativity, the colleagues. I just don’t like the box it comes in, with the deadlines, unrealistic expectations, the responsibility, the hierarchy.
Do I regret quitting? Hell no. My entire body screamed that I needed to do something else. And now, almost one year after quitting and having travelled full-time, I can say it was the best decision I’ve ever made.
Because boy of boy, my life is better this way 🌎✨
