The music videos we do for Rainbow High are always a highlight of the season. They are an opportunity for our team to really push themselves creatively from start to finish. ✨

One part of the 'All of The Colours' MV that proved a fun challenge was the trails of rainbow light that twist and twirl around the characters. To create the final look, a mixture of emissive shaders was applied to a custom dynamic trail rig which, once rendered, was further elevated by additional Post FX applied by the Comp team.

This side-by-side look gives a little insight into what the light trail looked like before and after it was rendered and those extra effects were added. 🌈

We are excited to kick off the year by attending the 'Kidscreen Summit' 2024 which takes place in San Diego from February 4th to 7th. It's a must-attend market and conference for the global children’s media industry. We can't wait to see you all there! 🌅

Happy New Year Everyone!

2023 has been such an incredible year for us here at Pixel Zoo and we are even more excited for everything we have planned for 2024!

To reflect on everything we have accomplished this year, here are the highlights!

In January, we started the year feeling the summer vibes while working on the 'Here Comes the Sunshine' LOL Surprise music video.

In February, we attended Kidscreen, the children's entertainment industry’s most important annual event that took place in Miami, Florida.

In March, we celebrated an incredible milestone - our 10th anniversary!

In April, everything revolved around the release of the first episode of our original series 'The Secrets of Sunflower Valley'. Thank you for all the support!

In May, we enjoyed seeing more of our content arrive on Netflix with season 3 of Rainbow High and Mermaze Mermaids.

In June, Project Rainbow kicked off the latest season of Rainbow High, introducing us to some super fun new characters as they compete in the ultimate fashion competition.

In July, the Tots from LOL Surprise started their epic road trip down Route 707. We also opened the doors of our studio to the local animation community when hosting a DLF event.

In August, we let loose and celebrated the projects that came to a close in the first half of the year at our Wrap Party.

In September, we were stoked to finally share our work on the TikTok series 'Always Bratz', it's been amazing seeing all the fan support.

In October, we got into the spooky spirit with a Halloween costume and desk decorating competition. A huge shout out to the Lighting Team who brought their 'a-game' with their decorations.

In November, we brushed up on our traditional art skills with a life drawing session at the studio after work.

In December, it was time to celebrate a full and fantastic year at the staff Christmas party, lots of drinks, dancing and good times had by all. We also said goodbye to another season of Rainbow High and got an exciting glimpse at what's to come next.

We want to thank everyone for all the support you've given us over this past year, see you in 2024!
