Incredible Tasmanian man Paul Hosking has served up more than 250 Christmas dinners at his 'Hope at St Paul's Kitchen' in Devonport this year.

For the past 8 years, Hosking has run the kitchen, offering hot meals and a friendly chat to anyone in need - several times a week.

Despite operating on a shoestring budget and relying on donations from local businesses, Hosking has never hesitated to help those in need.

This Christmas, Hosking and his team of volunteers went above and beyond to prepare and serve over 250 meals to those in need, while also helping Santa distribute hundreds of presents to adults and children.

The first photo negative was invented in 1851 by William Henry Fox Talbot. He was able to create a photographic image using a glass plate coated with silver nitrate and a paper-based negative. In 1856 he created the first photograph ever taken.
