“I can’t recall exactly how it happened, but I suspect someone gave me their unreleased Eternity in an Hour album,” Vodicka remarked, “and I couldn’t stop listening.” The independent music scene builder recounted the first time seeing the band. Hunt, he explained, “sat down for the entire show as he had a broken leg, but moved like the guitar was trying to burst out of his chest like an alien.”

In collaboration with Impressed SoundTracks, we're stoked to announce the soundtrack to The Surfer (dir. Lorcan Finnegan) is (digitally) out in the universe!

It's a psychological thriller featuring Nicolas Cage, and premiered over in the South of France at the 77th Cannes Film Festival.

The score is composed by one of our Rubber greats - François Tétaz - an Australian film composer who you might remember soundtracking the likes of Wolf Creek ('05) and more recently Elvis ('22).

You can listen now via the link in our bio, and pre-order the extremely rare (1000 copies - yuh) heavyweight blue and white 'WAVE/WHITE WASH' colour vinyl from our pals at Impressed - also via the link in bio.
