Meralda Station Cobar is a working station located just outside of Cobar NSW 📍

You can opt for the main camp ground or secluded camping and additional add ons such as the Bedford baths (keep an eye out for tomorrows post 😉), homestyle cooking and art workshops.

I had the entire main camp ground to myself, which I was a little freaked out about initially!
Jenny the host and co owner, reassured me that I am safe and the gates are locked at 6pm to ensure no unexpected visitors on my stay.

The facilities were well maintained, rustic and quirky. I’m sad it was too cold and windy to try out the cool shower! 🚿

I did though…indulge in the Bedford baths at sunset. More on that tomorrow 😍

All in all this was a fabulous stay and I recommend if you are looking to spend a night or two in Cobar put this on your list!

Had this memory come up today of my first adventure to the south coast NSW
This is a photo I took at horse head rock, it was so cool to see in person!
Camel rock isn’t too far but was a little underwhelming tbh
Would love to head back south one day soon, such a beautiful part of Australia
