Momentum Media was honoured to host Michelle McPhee, assistant governor (business services) at the Reserve Bank of Australia, at the Women in Finance Summit 2025.

In an insightful fireside chat with Annie Kane, Michelle shared powerful reflections on leadership, career progression, and the critical, often unseen, functions of the RBA’s business services division, from managing 350 million government payments a year to underpinning Australia’s fast payments infrastructure and overseeing the nation’s banknotes.

Her message to women in finance was clear:
Say yes to opportunities, embrace the zigzags of your career, and back yourself for senior roles.

A must-read for anyone interested in leadership, national financial infrastructure, and empowering women in the sector.
