📍 MOUNT GAMBIER

It was so fun to experience some things we haven't seen on our trip yet!

Mount Schank is a 5,000 year old volcano crater whereyou can walk around the rim. The photos don't do any justice to how big and deep the crater was, and the surrounding views were sooo stunning!

There are also sink holes everywhere, some of which can be scuba dived in and have their own ecosystems under water 🐟🐚🌿.

The sink holes pictures are Little Blue Lake and Blue Lake 🤣 very original - but the colour of the big Blue Lake was stunning 💙

Just when we thought we had seen the most beautiful places in Australia at the top end and over the East Coast... South Australia comes along 🥹😍

📍 GREAT OCEAN ROAD (Pt 2)

Unfortunately the weather flushed us off the Great Ocean Road adventure bit earlier than we would have liked, but it has been sooo windy that the roof top hasn't quite handled it 🌬

We checked out the 12 Apostles, Gibson Steps, Loch Ard Gorge and London Bridge before heading off to our next stop - but before we got there we had to stop at Cheese World! 🧀

Next stop - South Australia!

📍 GREAT OCEAN ROAD (Pt 1)

We started our Great Ocean Road adventure in Torquay (home of Rip Curl, Quicksilver and Ghanda).

Bells Beach had little surfers everywhere and the swell wasn't even that amazing 🏄‍♀️ but I guess if you surf it's blasphemous not to have a go when you're there!

We stayed in Torquay the night...and had to pay $100 for an overflow site because it was a long weekend and they were full... it hurt just a little bit! 💸

Split Point Lighthouse in Aireys Inlet was a little childhood flashback, being the Round the Twist light house 💡 We also checked out Lorne, Anglesea and a few other little towns along the way - and as expected, the coast line is just magic ✨️

We stayed in Apollo Bay at the Recreation Reseve which had a little river flowing through it with platypus in it, and green pastures with cows on the other side... see the last two pics for the most amazing sunset 🌄 (ft someone's lost shoe 🤣) there were also koalas in the trees around the caravan park which was a bit fun.
