BIG NEWS!!! The word is out SHIPWRECK HUNTERS AUSTRALIA Season 2 has been announced!!! We can't wait for more amazing adventures along the incredible West Australian coast. A huge high five to everyone in the production team and big love to Disney+ this is huge!!! What an incredible response we had to season 1. Thank you to everyone who watched and let us know! We are also overwhelmed by the support and funding from Screen Australia and Screenwest as well as Western Australia and from the team at WA Museum Boola Bardip and their expert maritime archaeologists. What a thrill for Ryan from and Director/Producer of the series Brendan Hutchens to meet legend James Cameron at the in conversation event yesterday at Fremantle Passenger Terminal / Fremantle Port. Really insightful and inspiring conversation - but the best bit was Ryan and James having a chat and swapping near death shipwreck dive stories! 😃🧜‍♂️ Thanks so much to the WA Museum Boola Bardip WA Maritime Museum team and the WA Museum foundation for an awesome event and the opportunity to meet James. Big win at the Australian Screen Sound Guild Awards! Congratulations to the Shipwreck Hunters Australia sound team! Sound is such an important part of our adventures. Not easy in demanding conditions above and below the surface. Incredible field sound operators worked on the series and it was all brought together by the team at Envelope Audio who did an incredible job on the sound design, mix, narration record with narrator and supply of much of the music. This is fantastic recognition for a bunch of dedicated professionals who gave their all. Awesome news.
