Reminder check your nuts folks 🥜🔩 Heads out the gutter… 😆 Off to do the cape next week so it’s time to check over the JB Caravans and Ranger. We’ve done a lot of currogations and a couple of wheel nuts were not as tight as they should be. Good reminder to regularly check them on a big trip. Preventative maintenance is your friend 🤝

And if any of you have tips for Cape York with a van send them through. Itinerary still flexible 🤔

Cheers Mark

🚨 We tried to warn them… but no UHF again.

On the east coast, it’s becoming a trend — caravanners just not using their radios, even when it’s about safety. Is it careless? Or are we expecting too much?

This week we camped at the stunning Bendeela Recreation Area in Kangaroo Valley, chased down NSW’s best donut, soaked up epic views at Manning Lookout, and spent a day at Sydney Motorsport Park that the rev-heads will love.

But it’s the lack of radio use that’s stuck with us.

81% humidy today ☀️🌴😅 Cairns giving us a taste for what’s to come further north. Feeling for all our fellow WA fam who’s no doubt rugged up right now? 🥶

Question for those who’ve toured northern Queensland before without power - any tips or ticks to stay cool? We’re on power now - loving the A/C but that’s going to change soon.

🆕Latest Episode is Live! This week took us to Congo Campground in NSW in search of coastal tranquility, but it didn't all go to plan as we juggled caravan school stress and some power issues.

Our camp base with our JB Caravans Gator X gave us the opportunity to explore Narooma - and who doesn't like a day trip to the cemetery? ha… 🥴🤣

🦘💦Swimming Roos at camp was incredible to see and I think you’ll agree the location is a bit special.

Getting Kate into the waters of Mystery Bay proved a handful and we got the Ranger dirty at Bogola Head. We even got a swim at the stunning Blue Pool of Bermagui.

🤭 Who else can’t handle the cold water like Kate?

This one is just a bit special. Introducing The Pines Campground, Blowering Dam, NSW.

🐶 No dogs.
💰 This is a free camp, however there is a $6 booking fee. Can stay up to 14 days. Unallocated sites - HEAPS of room.
🚽 Drop toilets only.
⛺️ All types suited. We drove our Gator X to the bottom nearer the water with no issues.
💧🚽 Dump point & potable water available in Talbingo 18mins / 21kms away.
💻 Found on google maps & WIKI.

The Pines campground is only a stone’s throw from Blowering Reservoir and on the edge of Bogong Peaks Wilderness. Located in the northern precinct of Kosciuszko National Park.

Pull up the van or boat beside the reservoir and set up camp. With so many options for outdoor activities, and a huge stretch of water to play on, it’s a great base for water sports including paddling, sailing, boating, waterskiing and fishing.

This campground is within the Tamut area which is exempt from needing a parks pass to stay. All others within the Mount Kosciuszko National park do.

It’s LIVE 🙌 After a challenging day trying to release this weekend’s episode, it’s ready 👌

Canberra was a real surprise packet for us on our lap of Australia. So much to see and do and many free activities for the whole family.

One of the highlights was our visit to the Australian War Memorial. This proved to be quite an emotional day for us.

We also found a reasonably priced camp for our JB Caravans Gator X, nearby the tram, making it easy to get around the city.

If you’ve visited Canberra before, we’d love to hear of your experience, or other places we should check out next time.

Catch all the action - link below and please show us some love with a comment on the video 🙏

Hey guys. Today’s video is delayed due to a technical issue. YouTube flagged one of our songs with a copyright issue, despite us having a license to use it. Rather than go through the dispute process which takes time, we have re-edited the video and it’s currently uploading. Hopefully it will still go live today but stay tuned.

Best way is to make sure you have YouTube notifications turned on by hitting the bell icon 🔔 and you’ll be the first to know when it’s ready to view.

Wishing you all a great weekend.
