♻️ Big changes are coming to South Australia’s single-use cups and containers.

From 1 March 2026, only items with Australian Standard compostable certification will be allowed. This means many of the so-called “green” disposable cups will no longer meet the rules.

But here’s the thing — even certified compostable cups are still single-use. They cost venues more, create confusion for consumers, and don’t guarantee a sustainable outcome.

That’s where Stack-Cup™ comes in. 🙌

What an incredible few days at the 2025 VMA congress at the International Convention Centre Sydney - ICC Sydney! 💥

It was our very first time attending (and exhibiting!) as Stack-Cup Australia, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We met so many inspiring people from across the venue and events industry, all passionate about doing things smarter — and more sustainably. 💚♻️

A huge thanks to the Venue Management Association for putting on such a well-run event and for making us feel so welcome. And of course, thank you to everyone who visited us at Booth 11 — we loved chatting, sharing the Stack-Cup story, and exploring how we can help venues say goodbye to single-use waste.

We’re heading home feeling inspired and excited for what’s to come. 🙌

A fantastic night at RAC Arena for the VMA After 5 networking event! 🌏♻️

It was great to connect with industry colleagues and discuss the ongoing efforts to drive sustainability in live events. A huge shoutout to RAC Arena for their incredible commitment to reducing waste—achieving an impressive 77% landfill reduction last year!

One of the key initiatives making a difference is the use of STACK-CUP™ reusable cups for all on-tap products. This not only helps reduce waste but also provides ongoing revenue for the venue—a win for the environment and the business.

🌟 Supporting Brett in Up All Night for WA Families 🌟

This March, Brett Braithwaite is walking 42km across Perth as part of Up All Night to support Ronald McDonald House Charities WA, providing a home away from home for families with sick kids. 💛🏡

For families who have to travel far for medical care, sleepless nights come with the territory. By walking through the night, Brett is stepping into their shoes to raise much-needed funds for accommodation, support, and stability during one of the toughest times in their lives.
