Pushing Forward despite Life’s Challenges

I am Losana Vola. I’m originally from the beautiful Fiji Islands. I’m a healthcare professional, and also a digital business owner.
Life as a migrant hasn’t been easy. Every single day comes with sacrifices—sacrifices we willingly make to support our families both here and back home in Fiji. No matter how hard we worked, achieving our dream life still felt out of reach. It made me stop and reflect: There has to be a better way.
I’ve always believed there’s more out there—something that could break the cycle. I thought about my childhood, walking long distance to school with my heavy school bag for my books. I fondly recall the day my grandmother carried me on her back, ensuring I could reach school and attend class the next morning. Despite having so little, we always persevered and moved forward with unwavering determination.
Those memories became the driving force behind my desire to create a better future for my family.
One day, I came across an ad on social media. It explained how to start and run a digital business. The story spoke to me deeply. I decided to take action, even though I was scared. I signed up for a free 90-minute workshop—and that decision changed everything.
I learned how people from all backgrounds were using this digital system to transform their lives. I did my research, took a leap of faith, and I haven’t looked back since.
Today, not only am I creating a better life for my own family, but I’m also helping others—people just like me—who are ready for change.
