Caliko are a duo from the South Coast that formed out of a connection through their passion for songwriting and harmonies. Their musical chemistry is palpable, with Ness Quinn on acoustic with her angelic vocals and Paul Greene on Baritone adding stunning texture and harmonies that sonically belies the sum of their parts.

A great initiative happening in Milton & Ulladulla! Can’t wait to work with the new songwriters and bands that are lucky enough to be part of this program.

Now that our Escape Room and Family Fun Day has come and gone - it's time to focus on our next major event to bring the community together under the MUCK Up banner where we will partner with South Coast Singing & Music Tuition, Sounds Delicious, Tayah Larsen Music and Tom Henry to deliver our Singer / Songwriter workshop and showcase across the weekend of 21-22 September.

A year ago this month a crew of Shoalhaven songwriters got together just to be writers for a day. Being in a room full of other songwriters is a really important thing for a writer, because it makes you realise that there are other people that see the benefit, importance and obsession with making up songs. We sat around the fire and shared our stories and songs and the next day everyone wrote. The songs were performed and recorded live. Here are the results.

Podcast recommendation: freewheeling with Stolky: episode 2 out tonight. I’ve learned so much from working with Blake, and hearing his story. There’s so many things I’d never really considered about what it’s like living with a disability. The way stolky puts it makes it very accessible and fun, even if it is a bit heartbreaking at times.
