Had a great morning being shown around by my little maker apprentice. Was awesome to chat with both new and familiar makers to show support and admiration for their work. No knives for me this year unfortunately, just some essentials.
Huge shout out to and for being so generous to one very lucky little girl. Absolutely made her morning and we will definitely put them to good use!
All the best for all the makers and vendors and hope everyone had a great show.
See again next year Adelaide Cutlers Expo, hopefully with a few AE knives finally too...

Vintage is finally over and I am taking on limited orders for sharpening again while cracking back into a custom order for a very patient customer.
Here is a little before and after on these large 200mm chipper blades getting cleaned up and sharpened after doing what they do! Maintained factory grind angle and added a micro bevel to help with some of the hard life that these blades are made for.

Got a green light with this custom build to further chase elements I'm striving to be able to pull off with more grace and ease. I love the contrast of forged texture and the ground bevels. Chased after that forged geometry and distal taper again as well as trying my hand at doing a tapered tang. Felt a little cross-eyed for awhile trying to get everything straight and even ðŸĪŠ.

Some specs:
210mm x 56mm of etched and polished 1084.
Handle is stabilised spalted tamarind ( courtesy of ), with black G10 liners and pins.
weight is 238g

Another year at the Adelaide Knife Show getting some supplies and swag.
Another year that little miss edgeworks gets to put the charm on some makers....just watch out and probably don't give her a sword again...woops 😅

Also a shout out to the makers who graciously took the time when they were able to look at some of my work to offer critique. Was greatly appreciated, thank you! 😊
