Stay safe all!

- 6:50pm: The TFS have now downgraded the fire to an advice level warning, saying there is no immediate threat.

The fire is travelling towards the Midland Highway at Jericho.

- 5:50pm: The fire has now been upgraded to a watch and act warning, with the TFS expecting it to put Rose Hill at "high risk" in the next 2-4 hours.

They say the fire is travelling towards Lower Marshes.

"Embers, smoke, and ash may fall on Rose Hill, Lower Marshes and threaten you and your home before the main fire arrives," the TFS said.

: Firefighters are rushing to the Jericho area of the Southern Midlands after a bushfire broke out this afternoon.

The fire near Rose Hill at Lower Marshes has put the area under an advice warning, as the blaze burns near key agricultural land and some homes.

People at Lower Marshes and the surrounding areas have been told to stay vigilant.

Our new station is complete!

A brand new ambulance station has been completed at Oatlands 💙🇦🇺🙌

This will help save Tasmanian lives!

This great news comes as we welcome 15 graduate paramedics who will be deployed across the State 🚑

Very sad to hear of the passing of yet another great Australian Radio Icon today.
Clive Robertson had a long association with Sydney's 2GB amongst other stations.
For anyone who listened to him, they will remember his very dry wit. Another great of our industry gone all too soon. RIP Clive.
