Resync Media Reporting that several Australian skincare products have been pulled from shelves due to a banned ingredient. The visible brands/products in the pile are:
1. KOi - Green & Clean Cream Cleanser (black tube)
2. Natio - For Men Purifying Face Scrub (brown tube, upside down)
3. Natio - Ageless (beige tube)
4. Jan Marini - Bioglycolic Body Scrub (white bottle)
5. La Clinica - Exfoliating Scrub (pink/orange tube)
6. Dr LeWinn's - Essentials Purifying Gel Cleanser (yellow tube)
7. LAesthetics - Bio-Treatment Mask (white tube)
The Banned Ingredient:
The recall is due to Lilial (Butylphenyl Methylpropional), a fragrance compound banned in the EU since March 2022 and now restricted in Australia under new TGA rules (effective 2023–2024). It’s classified as a reproductive toxin (CMR — Carcinogenic, Mutagenic, or Reprotoxic).

Chemist Warehouse, Priceline, and Myer pulled stock.
Refunds offered for affected batches.
Safe to use if purchased before 2023 (pre-ban reformulation).
