Down at the track, preparation work is very much underway.

🏁 🏎️ Hundreds of thousands of rev heads will make the pilgrimage to Mount Panorama this week for the Supercars Bathurst 1000 race weekend. If you're heading there, the best advice we can give is to make a plan!

⌛ 👀 Allow extra time on major roads heading to Bathurst including the M4 Motorway, Great Western Highway and Bells Line of Road from Sydney, Mitchell Highway from Orange, Mid Western Highway from Cowra and Castlereagh Highway from Mudgee.

🏡 🚙 Look Ford, plan ahead and allow plenty of extra travel time over the weekend. Delays are also expected on Monday 13 October as fans leave Bathurst to head home.
