Outages don't make headlines. They should. ⚡

Every time your lights stay on, a hospital keeps running, a city keeps moving - there's a team of engineers behind it who got inside the machinery and made sure it wouldn't fail. That's a power station outage. High-stakes, unglamorous, essential.

GE Vernova brought us to Kwinana Power Station in Western Australia. Over 200 crew. Simultaneous gas and steam turbine inspections. The kind of precision that only comes from years of trust.

But the operation isn't the story. The people are.

This is what Screentide does.

Some stories can't be told from a boardroom. They have to be lived.
GE Vernova trusted us to tell theirs.
We travelled to West Java, Indonesia, and what we found at the Jawa Satu Power Plant was extraordinary. 1,760 megawatts of LNG-to-power. A 52km transmission line. Electricity for over 10 million people.
But the infrastructure isn't the story.
The people are.
The GE Vernova and Jawa Satu teams, working every single day to maintain and repair this plant. We sat with them. Listened. Filmed. Real engineers. Real operators. No script. No spin.
No greenwashing. No glossy montages.
Just facts, from the people making it happen.
The energy transition isn't abstract. It's hard, unglamorous, essential work, and it deserves to be seen.
Huge thank you to Kristina Gold Krizak, Andrea Aileen and Meg Chapman at GE Vernova, George Djohan, Country Leader at GE Gas Power Indonesia, and Putri Kusumawati Murray, CEO of Jawa Satu Power. Your trust made this possible. 🙏

SOME PROJECTS REMIND YOU EXACTLY WHY YOU DO WHAT YOU DO... This is one of them.

Proud to share the GE Vernova Foundation's RENEW Skills film - a story about Vietnam's clean energy future and the remarkable young people being trained to build it. From the labs of Electric Power University in Hanoi to the workshops of Cao Thang Technical College in Ho Chi Minh City, we met professors and students whose dedication genuinely moved us. Getting to put faces to that future was a privilege.

A huge thank you to GE Vernova, the GE Vernova Foundation, ASSIST and the RENEW Skills program for the extraordinary work you do preparing Vietnam's next generation of energy professionals.

AI can write about stories like this. It still can't fly to Hanoi, earn the trust of a student on their first day in a lab, or feel the weight of a story worth telling. Some things you still have to show up for.

15 Years of Screentide — With Heartfelt Gratitude
Fifteen years ago, I took a deep breath and stepped into the unknown.

After years of working in TV — and leaving a secure Executive Producer role — I started Screentide. Two weeks after our third child was born (perhaps the worst timing on paper). But sometimes the best stories start in moments of uncertainty.

Running your own business is not for the faint-hearted. The highs and lows test you in ways no job ever will. But I believe magic happens when we step outside our comfort zone. And this little company has proved that to me, time and again.

Our projects have taken us all over the world.

We've had the privilege of telling powerful stories on screen — authentic, human stories that connect and inspire. And none of it happens without trust.
So today, with hand on heart, I say thank you.

To every client, partner, family member and friend who has believed in us and shared their vision:
ANZ, FCM, L'Oréal, House of Kitch, GE Vernova, Australian Government, Waratah Fencing, Insignia Group, CEFC, Metlife, Zurich, EDGE Agency, Santation Station, icare, IAG, NSW Health, Steadfast, TAFE NSW, Volvo, Deepend and many more along the way.

To every employee — past and present — who poured creativity, care and grit into making these stories shine.

You’ve all shaped what Screentide is today.

From the first nervous pitch to shoots in far-flung places, to moments where stories land and resonate — it’s been an extraordinary ride.

Here’s to the next chapter — and the stories still waiting to be told.
