While we've counted a ridiculous number of empty shops in our immediate CBD, what's not being shown is the amount of new businesses and industry that has been opening or reopening, or on the horizon.

So it's not all bad but business chamber leaders are urging communities to support local shopping as much as possible after what has been a tough year in retail and for small businesses.
