Attending a community broadcasting sector conference and hearing the work of others in multicultural broadcasting, Jimmy Li was inspired to start the 'Her Quiet Strength' project.

A year later at the Multicultural Voices Australia conference, he shared about his experiences capturing migrant stories in Mandarin for Goulburn Valley's ONE FM - focusing on the stories of migrant Chinese women building new lives in regional Victoria.

"I just wanted to explore more about the journey and see what these women have been getting through, overcoming" Jimmy told multicultural broadcasters from across Australia.

The Mandarin Program with Jimmy and the 'Her Quiet Strength' project airs on ONE FM 98.5 Shepparton and is available on your favourite podcasting platforms.
