Every year leading up to the Dragon Boat Festival, a humble yet powerful tradition takes place in Perth — volunteers come together to hand-wrap thousands of rice dumplings.

But this isn’t just about food. It’s about sharing the flavours of home with overseas migrants and travellers, and turning tradition into meaningful action.

This year, every dumpling made and shared carries a message of love and support — with all proceeds going toward earthquake relief efforts in Myanmar, helping families recover and rebuild after the tragic disaster in March.

Whether you're drawn by culture, cuisine, or heartwarming stories — this video is a tribute to connection, compassion, and the power of community.

❤️ Let this story inspire you.

Hey everyone, it’s Pauline here from Cuisine Hub 💛

It’s been a little quiet on this page lately, and I just wanted to give you a quick update.

Since March, we’ve started sending our little boy, Jordan, to daycare a couple of days a week, and I had high hopes of using that time to create more content for Cuisine Hub. But as life would have it, Jordan has been sick nearly every week since starting daycare — and when he recovers, I usually catch the bug too 😅

It’s been a cycle of one week on, one week off, and anyone who’s looked after a sick baby knows how draining it can be. Most days, I end up completely wiped out, with little to no energy left for editing or filming. My last post was the story of The Woodpeckers - Woodfired Restaurant and Cafe, and since then I’ve been struggling to find the energy to finish the other videos waiting in my drive. (A big sorry to the amazing businesses who generously shared your stories — I haven't forgotten you!)

For the next couple of months, Cuisine Hub might not be posting business stories as regularly. But I’m exploring ways to create smaller pieces of content from home while looking after Jordan — just keeping things flexible for now.

Thank you so much for sticking around and supporting this little project of mine. I can’t wait to show you what I’ve been working on when the time is right ✨

With love,
Pauline

🎉 Milestone Moment! 🎉

Yay! I’m so happy to see the views on my most recent food story featuring Woodpeckers—it’s reached 169 views on Youtube in just 4 days! 😍
This is officially the most viewed video for Cuisine Hub so far, and to me, that’s something worth celebrating! 🥳

I started making my very first video back in September 2024, and the past 7 months have been a huge learning journey. From figuring out how to reach out to people (and handling the rejections too 😅), to filming, editing, and learning the ropes of social media—it’s been challenging but incredibly rewarding.

I know 169 views might not seem like a big number compared to many YouTubers out there, but for me, it represents growth, effort, and progress. And I’m proud of that. 💛

Thanks to everyone who’s watched, liked, and supported my journey so far. More stories to come—one video at a time. 🎥🍴✨

The rising cost of living is hitting us all—consumers are tightening their belts, and food businesses are feeling the pressure with skyrocketing ingredients and operating costs.

At Cuisine Hub, I understand that it can be tough to set aside money for marketing or social media, especially with everything going on.

That’s why I’m here to support small food businesses by doing what I love most—sharing your stories in a real and meaningful way through high-quality video, all at an affordable cost.

Why does quality content matter?
It connects with your audience on a deeper level. And when it comes to long-form stories, they have the power to leave a lasting impact.

If you believe in what I do and would love to have your story featured, don’t hesitate to reach out. Let me help you bring your story to life and share it with the community.

Woodpeckers Italian Restaurant has faced its fair share of challenges. But when Nathan and Tiffany took over in 2014, they embraced the journey with passion, determination, and an open mind.

Today, Woodpeckers is known for serving some of the best Italian food in Subiaco, but their success wasn’t instant. Years of hard work, smart decisions, and a deep understanding of hospitality helped them transform their business.

In my conversation with Nathan, he emphasized the power of word-of-mouth marketing—reminding me of a quote I once came across: 👉 'Advertising brings in customers, but word of mouth brings you the best customers.

Have you ever been to the Canning Vale Weekend Markets?

A couple of weeks ago, I visited the Sunday Community Market for the first time and decided to make a video about it. I hope this video gives you a little glimpse of what it's like, and maybe it will inspire you to check it out for yourself!

If you've been there before, I’d love to hear what you enjoy most about it. For me, the freshness of the veggies is amazing—the bunch of coriander I bought still looked incredibly fresh even after 2 weeks in the fridge!

🌅 A Day in the Life of a Content Creator and Full-Time Mom 🌟

My day kicked off bright and early at 6:30 AM, thanks to my little early riser! After a quick morning routine, I dropped my little one off at daycare and headed out to Coogee for work. Left the house just before 8:30 AM, but the morning peak traffic made my trip a little longer than expected—took me a full hour to get there! 🚗💨

Once I arrived, I had an amazing conversation with Tam, the owner of Surfing Lizard Café. We dove deep into his passion for food and his big dreams for the future. So grateful for the chance to chat, especially since he’s turned down interviews from major newspapers! 🙏

There's just so much to learn from Tam, my Sony camera decided to quit on me—ran out of battery halfway through the interview!
But hey, that didn’t stop me. I ended up doing a spontaneous interview with Johnny from The Salty Dog Coffee Van, another gem Tam recommended. ☕️

By the time I got home just before 3 PM, I still had time to catch up on some housework and sneak in writing this post before heading out to pick up my little one from daycare.

Another day, another adventure. 💖
