It was a great weekend. And I always appreciate an incredible media team to work with as well! While we are all independant and freelance (meaning we don't see a penny until you buy your photos), a solid media team working together gives the competitors the best coverage!

This weekend, we had Eric and Jessie from Eric Lloyd Photography, Wayne from Waylib Photos - Wayne Edwards, Sam from Crescendo Clips and myself!

The Eventing WA Promotions Inc. hosted Heidelberg Materials Australia Brigadoon CCN demonstrated everything from beauty and talent, raw strength and determination to a lot of grit and perserverance (particularly today) but, even more than that, it showed such an amazing sense of camaraderie amongst the Eventing community.

Well done to everyone who attended the Brigadoon CCN; whether it was as an official, volunteer, rider, specatator, sponsor or anything else. Another brilliant event. Another weekend of WAY too many photos. Can't wait to get stuck into these over the coming week.

I covered plenty of Dressage (considerably more than I was pre-booked for) and then spent today down near the new Heidelberg sponsored Splash end of the Cross Country course! Stay tuned for gallery updates.

Swan River Dressage Series 2

Riders, are you riding on Monday in the International or Grass Arenas? I am offering you an additional event special. Check it out and message me, with arena number, draw time and bridle number to book in. Priority spots will be limited.

Exciting update- these packages, including the Special Offer, will also be available with Eric Lloyd Photography covering all the Indoor arena action on Monday. Contact him to book if riding in the Indoor arena (Monday only).
As usual, all tests will still be covered and images processed post-event, but the Special Offer will be given priority processing.

We have a great media team ready to cover the event; but they are trying something a little different this year for the Dressage. If you would like ensure your Dressage test covered, this year you will need to pre-book with your chosen photograper. Book today or tomorrow for a discounted rate on your images, or come and see us on the day.

This weekend you wil have myself (Kelly Thomas Productions) and Jessie and Eric, from Eric Lloyd Photography, behind the lenses for Dressage, Show Jumping and Cross Country. Want a reel too? Well Div A&B 95 to the 3*, make sure you book your spot with Sam from Crescendo Clips too.

At this stage, Jessie will have Arena 2 & 3 Dressage. I will be Arena 4 & 5. From there we will both capture the International (Arena 1) from where we are too! Eric will be down at the Show Jumping.

There was some lovely warm glowing light to wrap up the MARC x Lions Club of Pinjarra Show Jumping Spectacular on Sunday!

Why do photographers keep the SD cards with event images until galleries are complete and online?

For when they make massive blunders, they can refer back to the SD card and still have the images.

Somewhere/somehow I managed to lose your photos as I was editing them. Crisis averted though as I have just saved and imported them again from the SD card... downside, I have to start them all over again :( I will make these a priority as many of the requests on Friday were for these 2 classes as well. I'll pop a progress update here soon!
