HEY TPC SUPPORT CREW!

As many of you know we are making a full documentary about the Crew’s incredible experience at The World Transplant Games. It is going to be made by us (with support from our friends at Sum Effect), telling our story and feature all of our amazing footage from the Games! We would love your support big or small to give this film the love it deserves like sound design, specialist editing, music and entry into film festivals. If you can help us out, we would really appreciate it, especially this week. You see we are currently raising funds through this fund with the hope that our donations will be doubled (how awesome! they decide on 22 March) https://artists.australianculturalfund.org.au/s/project/a2EMn000005ImIE/everywhere-film-documentary-the-periscope-crew

Any donation of $100 or above we will thank you in the actual film credits, and donations of $1000 or over will have their business logo featured as well as invites to the screening. If you would like to talk about your business getting onboard, please feel free to message us or email [email protected].

Thanks for all your love - it means the world.

'Everywhere' is a documentary being produced by The Periscope Crew (TPC) -a film crew of young people with a disability. Funds raised with this project will help promote our film at screenings in Perth and NSW, and support film distribution 'everywhere'.

It really was magical to see The Periscope Crew recognised on the national stage at the inaugural National Disability Awards in Melbourne last night. The Cockman and Kolomyjec families represented the Crew, celebrating TPC’s mammoth effort at the Official World Transplant Games in April.

We were so thrilled to be Highly Commended, with the Media Award going to Better Homes and Gardens for their inspirational story on ‘Aruma’s Summerland’. For our little Crew to be recognised in a category that didn’t just include our new friend Johanna Griggs, but also ABC Perth, Ermha and The Age, was something special indeed.

One of the biggest things to come out of last night was WA! Our State came away with four awards out of the 8, with many more incredible nominees and finalists. Congratulations to the Autism Association of WA for their amazing partnership with WA Cricket (Inclusive Communities Award), to Advocacy WA in the South West (Excellence in Regional and Remote Support), Clinikids at Telethon Kids Institute (Excellence in Allied Health) and John Holdcroft from Workpower (Excellence in Disabilty Support Work). We loved meeting Dawn from Crosslink who was a finalist for Outstanding Leader of the Year, support worker Cindy from SensesWA and catching up with our old friend Michael from Activ Foundation. A huge applause to everybody from our State - we are doing amazing things in the West to make the world a more inclusive place.

Thank you NDS for a fabulous event. It was particularly poignant for us as NDS funded our very first camera equipment which got The Periscope Crew started. Thank you to Jenni Vile and the Transplant Australia team who gave us the once in a lifetime opportunity at the World Transpant Games; and congratulations to every Crew member, mentor and roadie mum who was involved in this special job that continues to have an impact everywhere.
