SPLM-IO threatens to withdraw from Warrap State government over intimidation.

The Sudan People’s Liberation Movement in Opposition (SPLM-IO) members in the Revitalized Transitional Government of National Unity (RTGoNU) and Council of States from Warrap State have threatened to pull out from the state unity government citing mistreatment and harassment by the state governor.

President John Magufuli Was Allegedly Poisoned By The Chinese In Collaboration With The Western Countries’ Spies!

Dodoma- A high ranking Government official in Tanzania has claimed that Dr. John Pombe Magufuli was killed by the Chinese in collaboration with the Western Countries because he stood strong and denied them entry into Tanzania and blocked them from accessing the rich mineral resources in the Country.

The official who spoke to KDRTV News correspondent in Tanzania requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the information who also revealed that they are investigating all the leads and will come with a conclusive report on how their beloved President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli died a man who was very energetic and healthy.

The Government official disclosed very scanty details of the events that led to the President’s condition which deteriorated so fast and worsened day by day until his demise which is still a mystery because the Vice-president who announced the death said that he died on Tuesday evening East African time while online rumors indicated that he died in a Kenyan Hospital in Nairobi.

Former Tanzania Presidential candidate, Mr. Tindu Lissu who run against Dr. Pombe Magufuli, claimed on his social media accounts and on BBC TV show that the President was critically ill and had been flown out of the country for specialized treatment.

President Dr. John Pombe Magufuli directed that all minerals that are extracted in Tanzania must be manufactured in the Country and no raw materials should be exported without prior approval from his officials which made it very difficult for companies from the east or western Countries to access the raw materials and export them to their countries.

In a recent event that shocked many people, he impounded raw materials at the Port of Dar es Salam which were destined for China, and demanded that the firm should manufacture the materials in Tanzania.

This action angered many international firms who threatened to pull out of Tanzania in protest but this did not deter President Magufuli from standing his ground and told them off and if they don’t play along they should keep off Tanzania.

The President blocked some manufactured products from the neighboring countries and directed the Tanzanian Revenue Authority to charge high levies on the products in order to protect the local manufacturers.

President Magufuli barred his Ministers from unnecessary international travels and expenditures. He was also considered an enemy to his neighbors whom he claimed were exploiting Tanzanians and expelled thousands of them from Tanzania claiming that they were occupying jobs the locals can comfortably.

Dear Comrade Gen. Oyay

I am writing in response your recent queries to update you that SPLM/IO in government is working to create a new political party. We have made some progress and I thought it wise to bring this to your attention.

SPLM/IO in government has managed to cement a new political coalition with the Dinka Malual of Northern Bahr El Ghazal state through prominent politician Hon. Arthur Akuien Chol. This is a great political development in the history for our party (the SPLM/IO in government.) In the past we succeeded in recruiting of the middle age cadres with zero political followers across the Dinka communities.

Now with Arthur Akuein Chol on board, I must say we have made a breakthrough! As you are aware my position as Vice President in the government of the Republic of South Sudan is in jeopardy and my chances for political survival are very slim. I would like to inform you that President Salva Kiir Mayardit and First Vice Dr. Riek Machar have mobilized the Nuer Community to push me on the sidewalks of power. Evidence is President Kiir’s continued to favor towards the Monytuil family.

Governor Joseph Nguen Monytuil, Tut Gatluak Kew in Unity state (western Nuer) and group led by Hon. Dak Duop Bichop from the Eastern Nuer area are working hard against me and my long time political rival Dr. Riek Machar. All these groups are fighting to kick me out of the Presidency.

The plan between Arthur Akuien Chol and myself is working well. We have agreed to create new political coalition whereby I will be the President and Arthur Kuein will be my Deputy. We have made significant progress in creating division within the Jieng Community. This development is progressing well, thanks to Hon. Arthur Akuien Chol and Mr. Garang Deng Aguer for their good connection and relationship with the Jieng Council of Elders (JCE) who have also agreed to be on our side in the new political coalition.

All the recent decisions by the JCE were made in our favor and that is a great achievement for the SPLM/IO in government.

Our political campaign and mobilization strategy among the Dinka community is designed to be executed by committed young Dinka politicians who are sons of respected prominent politicians among the Dinka Malual. Hon. Angok Arthur Akuien Chol and Hon. Malong Lual Diing Wol who are members of National Assembly are spearheading the mobilization.

The two young MPs command good followers among the Dinka Malual. They have been successful in our face-to-face mobilization, social media campaigns and the disseminations of all the letters issued by senior members of my party few days ago.

Inconclusion, please make sure that this information reach all our members and supporters and let know that our priority is to meet the target by mobilizing all the South Sudanese to join our cause and that the Dinka Malual wherever they are should be consider as our allies. I also want you work hand in hand with should communities including those who recently declare their rebellion. We will need them in the future. Those who are not aware about this political development as such communities in the diasporas and neighboring countries should be inform accordingly.

Clarification!

We in the Press Unit in the Office of the First Vice President have just learned, with dismay, that about five individual MPs from the Transitional National Legislative Assembly of the 'former' government under the defunct ITGoNU, have released a misleading statement. The statement, said to have been written on 'Monday, 5th February, 2021 (incorrect date) was trying to informally and unjustly justify the basis for a decision by the Ministry of General Education and Instructions to deny over 800 children from sitting for Primary 8 Examinations in a number of selected counties in Upper Nile and Jonglei States, or areas under the control of the SPLM!/SPLA (IO).

The allegations the five spewed in their letter were untrue and baseless for the following reasons:

1. Honourable Minister Awut Deng Acuil spoke with the First Vice President on phone about the matter. It was neither a meeting conducted in person nor did they meet many times as the letter falsely alleged. In that phone conversation, the Hon. Minister was reassured by the SPLM/SPLA (IO) leadership that the safety of the Examiners and Examinees including the conducive atmosphere for the Examinations will be fully taken care of. There was that understanding in their conversation.

2. Recent meetings between the leadership of the SPLM/SPLA (IO) and international partners and Envoys further concluded that the children in the selected areas should do the Exams like the rest in the country. This was too publicized! The leadership reassured the safety for all those who will be involved in the exercise. After all, there are certain degrees of insecurity in many parts and regions of the country, not exclusively in the areas controlled by the SPLM/SPLA (IO). Some other areas are worse compared with the mostly peaceful areas controlled by the SPLM/SPLA (IO). It is the collective responsibility of the R-TGoNU to ensure security and safety of all. Rumours of harassment and torture of Examiners were in the areas under the control of the SPLM/SPLA (IO) were eithe concocted or exaggerated.

3. The authors of the letter seem to have not consulted the Office of the First Vice President in order to inform themselves on the understanding reached on matter of the Examinations. Their findings are so bias. We couldn't understand what they were trying to score by that erroneous statement.

4. All children in South Sudan have the right to education, the right to sit for the Primary 8 school Examinations without any discrimination. ITGONU, with all its Parties to the R-ARCISS, are responsible for ensuring that the Examinations succeed in all areas in the Republic of South Sudan. The SPLM/SPLA (IO) leadership had already instructed security organs in their respective areas to ensure the safety of all involved in the exercise.
