Mount Hay Gemstone Tourist Park

We were heading out west from Rocky and last minute decided to stop in for the night 💎

A really great, safe spot for the kids to do some fossicking and my favourite part about finding Thunder Eggs is that it’s like a kinder surprise and you don’t know what’s in side until it’s open!.. How’s the one Charlotte found?!

Yeppoon | Queensland

A quick visit that left us wishing we’d planned for more time.

Squeezed into an overflow site at the Coolwaters, Yeppoon, we found this to be on the busier side to what we have seen caravan parks lately.

Tour of Bundaberg

While staying at we visited the town of 🥃

First up we kept the kids happy at .strawberries 🍦

Next up we visited 🥤 The little museum in here was actually very interactive for the kids. Unfortunately, we missed the last tasting of the day so make sure you get there before 3

Then last up we went to and we did the tour which included a few tastings at the end and a softie for the kids, grabbed one of their new Drop Bear Shots and ended up with a bottle 🥃

Splitters Farm | Bundaberg, Queensland

🐪🐷🫏🐐

For $139.80 a night (ouch 😅), we got overnight accommodation PLUS unlimited animal feeding (and the place pretty much to ourselves)— and knowing part of it goes back into the rescue centre made it feel a little easier to justify.

The highlight? Two baby goats were born while we were there 🥹🐐

Favourite animals of the trip:
• Noah — the camels 🐪
• Charlotte — the guinea pigs 🐹
• Adam — the pigs 🐷
• Jessy — the donkeys 🫏

Safe to say the kids (and adults) were absolutely in heaven. 💛
