Australia’s new Budget could quietly reshape the property market 👀

Workers are set to receive up to $2,816 in combined tax relief from 2027–28 through new tax cuts, offsets, and deductions — meaning more disposable income and potentially more borrowing power..

But for property investors, the bigger conversation is around negative gearing and capital gains tax changes.

If investor incentives reduce, fewer rentals may enter the market while housing demand keeps growing. That could mean tighter vacancy rates, rising rents, and stronger long-term value for quality investment properties.

This market is shifting from speculation to strategy.
