nursery renovation - swipe for before

this was an old office with a 1970s carpet for a long time.

I started by removing the carpet, which was glued on in a past life, and the yellow underlay was turning to dust.

I pulled off the old small profile jarrah skirting boards.

Freshened up the ceiling and walls in the same natural white matt paint.

Laid new peel-and-stick flooring and added new wider profile skirting over the top.

I made a board and batten feature wall and painted it a nice blue called aerobus.

The name fits in well with the hot air balloon theme of the room.

I finished it with the blended vertical panel door and added a push-button magnetic latch.

Now, I can finally cross this reno off the never-ending project list.
