Celebrating Bethany’s 6th months milestone today! She is such a beautiful addition to our family, and watching her grow reminds me so much of how a business grows too. She started so small, learning new things every day, taking her first steps, and discovering the world around her.

Our business is a lot like Bethany when she was a baby. If you don’t nurture it properly, give it your time, or invest in its growth, it won’t flourish. It requires devotion, patience, and love. There will be sleepless nights, challenges, and moments of doubt—but just like raising a child, every effort counts.

So how did I grow my business? I treated it like my baby:

When our marriage healed, our home did too.

One thing I’ve learned as a wife and a mum — the way my husband and I treat each other shapes the atmosphere our kids grow up in.

Before, we thought being good parents was all about the kids — giving them the best food, school, toys, or activities. But we later realized that one of the greatest gifts we can give them is a healthy relationship between us.

When our marriage is peaceful, our home feels lighter.
When we communicate with respect, our kids learn to do the same.
When we forgive quickly, they see what grace looks like.
And when we laugh together, they know that love can be joyful and safe.

That’s why we started our weekly “Plan Dates.”
