Attempting apricot chicken again but this time trying two different ways.

Apricot chicken sausages on mash or rice (haven’t decided) for tonights dinner and the chicken thighs will be used in school lunches tomorrow (apricot chicken and rice burritos)

Big morning at footy so it meant a good ole hearty lunch/dinner as it was cold and wet today.

Homemade Nachos with all the toppings.

Bog mince
Refried beans
Red capsicum
Taco seasoning plus a cup of water
Salsa
Avocado dip
Sour cream
Cheddar cheese.
Doritos chips.
lettuce for extra crunchy and freshness.

Spent $30 and it serves easy 6 big portions

It’s been awhile since we have had fish.. barramundi at $18 a kilo served over two nights. Smashed another dinner out for $9 a plate.. yesterday was fish and salad, tonight fish and mash with frozen veg..

100% we can do this, only buying what’s on special and where we can save..
