We’re absolutely pumped to finally announce our first-ever daytime-to-evening summer party! 🌅

After 5 years of searching Perth for the perfect venue, we’ve locked in the stunning Swan Valley at Mash Brewing🍺 for an 11-hour music experience in a one-of-a-kind setting, on Saturday the 18th of October.

Mash Brewery has it all an epic beer garden 🍻, fresh craft beers on tap, delicious food 🍔, and of course… 13 of Perth’s most talented local DJs bringing the vibes 🎶.

Happy Friday everyone!

Hope you’ve all had a cracking week and are looking forward to the weekend ahead.

The dust has finally settled from what was easily our finest night since Yangebeats began. We've lost count of how many times we’ve rewatched the videos on our IG page but every time we do, it brings us so much joy. We’re already looking ahead to our 6th birthday next July, where we’ll be blasting out even more classics. Honestly, there are still so many we can’t wait to play for you all!

Now, onto the Poker Chip Challenge results...

Larko just edged out 2024 winner Mr Hynds to take the win and square up the competition!

This is where the post should probably end… but unfortunately, a few rules were broken and need to be addressed before our 6th Brithday.

DJ Larko and Koopa stuck to the plan and played their red herring tracks – Castles in the Sky and Sandstorm. Unfortunately, TyMarL and Mr Hynds decided to go a bit rogue and dodged theirs.

While the committee is willing to let that slide, another breach didn’t go unnoticed and will unfortunately result in some kind of penalty.

We had a rule: no track repeats, and while we knew this would get harder to enforce each year, we didn’t expect a breach in only Year Two let alone twice by the same DJ.

To make matters worse, there was no remorse shown for this blatant rule-breaking.

A penalty will be issued to Mr Hynds. We’re not sure what it’ll be yet, but the committee has 11 months to come up with something suitable!

With it being our 5th Birthday today, I feel there’s one final thing that needs to be said before tonight.

Everyone gets into the music scene for different reasons, and I want to let you know why I did.

I’m not in this to make money or to get picked to play for internationals , what pushed me to create Yangebeats is that I miss the glory days of trance. The only way to bring that feeling back was to work hard over the last five years, and it’s all led to tonight.

Luckily, I’ve found some lads who share that same passion and who are seriously talented. Honestly, I have so much faith in us as a collective that we can recreate how trance was played back in its prime.

For those who came last year, you’ll remember that feeling , we were on the right track. But we knew it needed a few more tricks to take it to the next level (Unicorn Level).

And for anyone who hasn’t got a ticket and used to love trance in its prime, remember how it used to be? You never knew if you’d get into the club. You’d just turn up, hope for the best, and find a way in.

The bonus with Geisha is there’s a speaker on the street, so even while you’re queuing, you can hear what we’re playing.

If you’ve got no plans get yourself involved.

To the ticket holders:

I’ll leave you with this, anyone who gets in before 10.30 PM and stays until 5 AM will be our guest for next year’s edition, as a thank-you for your support.

No one looks back on their life and remembers the nights they got plenty of sleep.

Let’s make a special memory tonight, team.

This could be the best night of your lives , it’ll probably be mine.
