Anjunafamily Perth

*************

ABGT stands for Above & Beyond Group Therapy but its story began with much more than the name of a radio show.

Fifteen years ago, Above & Beyond released their landmark album Group Therapy: a collection of deeply emotional songs that marked a new chapter for the trio and helped them truly find their sound.

It became home to tracks such as Sun & Moon, Thing Called Love, Alchemy and You Got To Go , songs that have since soundtracked countless lives and shared moments.

The Group Therapy name later became their weekly radio show, and its milestone celebrations grew into global gatherings of people connected by music.

Over time, Group Therapy has come to mean something even bigger: emotion, friendship, belonging and finding your people on the dancefloor.

That is exactly why we’re bringing our Tribute to ABGT700 Rooftop Party to Anjunafamily Perth.

It isn’t simply about recreating a lineup from a weekend happening on the other side of the world. It’s about capturing that same spirit here at home , bringing people together, welcoming new faces and continuing to grow our own small but passionate Anjunafamily Perth community.

Because we could all use a little Group Therapy in our lives. 💙

Our four DJs will take us on a five-hour journey inspired by artists appearing across the ABGT700 weekend, beginning with the deeper sounds of Anjunadeep, building through melody and progressive energy, and finishing firmly in Anjunabeats territory.

🎶 6–7pm — SHANWA

🎶 7–8pm — Ross Nesbitt

🎶 8–9pm — Mark Lim

🎶 9–10:30pm — Michael Alan

🎶 10:30–11pm — Ross Nesbitt & Mark Lim closing B2B

Whether you’re a longtime Anjuna fan or discovering the music for the first time , you’re welcome here.

Happy Friday, crew!

Ahead of Mauro Picotto this Sunday afternoon at The Harbour Bar, Hillarys , We thought it was the perfect time to drop our 3.5-hour tribute set.

To give you all the full extent of what this opportunity means to be on this line up (Samantha and Larko) , it's probably a good time to explain why this will be our proudest moment since we both started learning to DJ back in the mid-'90s. It really is that big to us.

We don't become connoisseurs of the Mauro Picotto's sound without knowing what works alongside his tracks. Expect to hear influences from artists such as Mario Più, Ricky Le Roy, Marco V, Scott Project, and many more throughout our set. So, for those of you who hang around until the end, strap in it's going to be quite the journey.

Larko here!

It still hasn’t quite sunk in, but a few weeks ago Samantha G and I were asked to join the lineup for Mauro Picotto this August!

For those who know us, you’ll know Mauro is our DJ GOAT. We’ve spent the last few weeks digging through our vinyl collection and, let’s just say, we own a fair few of his tracks!

Over the years I’ve played plenty of Mauro tunes at Yangebeats, but I’ve never done a full tribute set. I’ll be sharing one before the event.

We’d love for you to join us on Sunday 2 August at The Harbour Bar for what will be a very special day.
