*** Yangebeats Final Release is Close ***

With 4 weeks to go until the final Yangeboat on New Year’s Eve, we’re about to move into Final Release. If you’re quick, there are still 12 Second Release tickets available.

We’re also doing something new for the decoy this year, we’ll be returning first to Barrack Street Jetty (next to The Lucky S**g, city side) at 1:30am, then heading back to where the boat departs from at Mends Street Jetty (South Perth) for 2:00am.

Transperth is running all night and it’s free. It’s only a short walk from Barrack Street to Elizabeth Quay Station.

Mandurah Line (Southbound) departures:
01:48, 01:56, 02:03, 02:18, 02:33, 02:48, 03:03, 03:31, 04:16, 05:16

Yanchep Line (Northbound) departures:
01:50, 01:57, 02:12, 02:27, 02:42, 02:57, 03:20, 04:05, 05:05

*** The Final Goodbye ***

It’s been a few weeks since we dropped the sad news that, after six years, it was time to bring the unexpected Yangebeats story to an end.

We say “unexpected” because it all began as a drunken idea to get a few lads playing tunes again.

To be going out the way we are now is a real lesson in life: follow your dreams, and one day they might just happen.

As a collective, we didn’t always see eye to eye on trance acts, but there was always one name we all agreed was the king of trance.

It’s worth noting that this Yangebeats collective wasn’t built on years of friendship, in most cases, it was just random meetups.

Tymarl was discovered while cueing to see John OO Fleming in 2019.

Chris Hynds was found on a Twitch stream from the smallest home DJ studio in Perth.

Koopa simply rocked up for MaRLo pre-drinks at Yangebeats HQ in August 2019.

And Larko just appeared from a garden in Yangebup.

It’s a collective that formed naturally and now, on Friday the 6th of February at Bar1 in Hillarys, they’ll be the support acts, handing over and closing for the Godfather of Trance: Paul Van Dyk .

We always planned to go out at the top, and there truly isn’t anything higher.

If you haven’t got your tickets yet, please do so ASAP it went on sale two weeks ago and there are only 150 left.

Koopa and TyMarL are on handover duties, while Hynds and Larko will close out this incredible journey.

This phrase gets thrown around too often but this is genuinely one event you don’t want to miss (This will sell out).

Hope your weekend’s going well, and that you’ve all had some time to process Thursday’s sad announcement. 💔

The first step in bringing this amazing journey to an end is announcing the last ever YangeBoat and we’re taking it back to where it all began. Just like the very first YangeBoat, this one will feature Yangebeats Resident DJs only, and to throw some extra petrol on the fire, we’re hosting it on New Year’s Eve! 🚤🎉

Once the boat is close to selling out, we’ll then drop details for the final farewell event.

Anyone who has previously signed up to the Yangebeats presale link and has attended five or more Yangebeats events will receive the first allocation of 50 tickets. Then on Monday, anyone else who has signed up will get their chance, and the remaining tickets will go on general release.

We understand not everyone wants to share their details, but once this event sells out, the presale program will be shut down and deleted permanently.

Tomorrow, we’ll drop the Facebook event, and everyone on the presale list will receive their ticket link on Monday evening around 7pm.

😢 Everything that has a beginning has an end 😢

We’ve seen this moment coming for a while now, and unfortunately, it’s time to bring this amazing journey to an end. 💔

Yangebeats was created simply to get a couple of lads back behind the decks again and it did just that. It was also about giving local DJs the chance to be booked and showcase their passion for trance. 🎶

Fast-forward almost 6 years, and it’s grown into something far bigger than we ever expected. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who’s trusted us, supported us, and been part of this journey along the way. 🙏

We understand this news might come as a bit of a shock especially since the brand is at its strongest point yet but truthfully, we’re all a bit knackered! We’re all in our 40s now, life has changed for each of us since we started, and as a group, we’ve decided it’s time to bow out while we’re still at the top.

On Saturday morning, we’ll be dropping details of our final standalone event before we wrap up Yangebeats in February 2026 in the biggest and best way possible. 💥

That final event in Feb will give everyone a chance to say goodbye (and yes, you might want to bring the tissues 🥹).

For now, we just wanted to share this sad news, and over the next few weeks, we’ll reveal the full roadmap for how this incredible journey will come to a close. ❤️

If you’d like to share a memory written, video, or photo from your time with Yangebeats, it would really help us all celebrate the amazing journey we’ve been on together. In months or years to come, we’ll always be able to look back on this post and relive it all.

Really, this post should end here… but we’ve never been a brand that takes ourselves too seriously. So, it feels right to end on a high and leave you with a smile. 😄

They say the difference between a good DJ and a great DJ is that the great ones always leave you wondering what’s next. We might never have hit those heights as DJs but hopefully, as a brand, we did. 😉🎧

In 2021, a number of the Yangebeats crew decided to showcase trance at Blazing Swan, and each year since, we’ve fundraised for our non-profit sound stage. 🔥

This year marks our 5th time bringing the vibes & the first get-together is tomorrow night, upstairs at the Aberdeen Hotel! 🎶

The lineup is stacked with amazing local talent all have played for Yangebeats over the years. 🙌 It’s also a White Party, which adds that extra bit of excitement! 🤍✨
