Wev'e arrived in Karajini, and it's everything we hoped for - red rock gorges, spring fed swimming holes, and sunsets that stop you in your tracks. In this first chapter, we explore the tranquil Fern Pool and cascading beauty of Fortescue Falls, and whip up an outdoor Italian feast with a view at the breathtaking Albert Tognolini lookout. It's wild WA at it's finest - cool water, hot meals, and scenery that stirs the soul.

Ellenbrae, Pentacost, El Questro & the art of outback indulgence.
https://youtu.be/1ld-bFX5QpU

We finish the Gibb with a bang - and a bath! From Ellenbrae Station's famous scones and a romantic sunset soak to crossing the Pentacost River where fishing meets crocodile country, this episode is full of contrasts. At El Questro we unwwind in Zebedee Springs, hike Emma Gorge with a curious guide and wrap it all up with a final river crossing at Ivanhoe. It's wild, whimsical and the perfect end to the Gibb River Road.

This week we explore two of the Kimberley's most stunning stops - Adcock Gorge and Manning Gorge. Are they the best on the Gibb? We reckon they are serious contenders.

Between swims and scenic hikes, we share our off-grid water transfer hack using a bladder and pump and how we track our usage to stay longer in remote camps.

It's waterfalls, wisdom and a whole lot of WA magic!

Job done. Huge thanks to Paul at Cavs Mobile Caravan Repair in Tom Price. Tomorrow we can hit the road again.
Network RV authorised him to reinforce both suspension mounts on both sides of the van.
At the same time denying poor workmanship or design is the cause.
Photos from the undamaged side Paul took and provided in his report show poor quality welds lacking pe*******on and signs of fatigue stressing.

Today we tackled Knox Gorge, another class 5 hike with a very steep descent.
Shaun was managing a back issue & I had a migraine, but we made it!
And were rewarded with a peaceful waterfall & swimming hole whilst we had a snack before making he hike back.
Well worth the effort ☺️
