The wise one! Did you know that owls in Feng Shui are a symbol of wisdom? Symbolically, owls aid with learning, knowledge, understanding, decision-making, clarity, insight… anything that brings wisdom.

An ornament or artwork of an owl is best placed in your North East as this section represents learning, knowledge and education. And it’s a fantastic omen if you see one!

The things I’ve seen in toilets! I mean artwork and ornaments! In Feng Shui, the toilet, bathroom and laundry rooms are known as drainage areas. Be mindful of what you place in them as everything is symbolic.

When you place symbols in these areas, all the goodness will symbolically drain away. So…. no artwork, ornaments, plants or expensive fittings in these rooms.

The kitchen is not considered a drainage area in Feng Shui.

These are three different types of luck, and all three of them represent equal value – each type of luck makes up one-third of your life.

HEAVEN LUCK: This is based on time – timing of events, which is influenced by your date of birth.

EARTH LUCK: This is based on space – which is influenced by your environment, your home.

MANKIND LUCK: This is the luck that you create for yourself through your mind.

Loreta Cilfone’s career background is in publishing of magazines, newspapers and books for more than 17 years. She first stumbled across Feng Shui in 2004 when researching an article for a home magazine, and became a Feng Shui enthusiast immediately!

Fast forward to 2013, and Loreta began learning Feng Shui by default! She was asked to do editing work in the field of Feng Shui and her learning journey began. Loreta then officially commenced studying all Feng Shui Schools and Chinese Astrology. She has studied in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with world-renowned Grand Master Lillian Too, and she has attended workshops in Melbourne conducted by world-renowned Chinese Dato’ Joey Yap.

To-date, Loreta has edited and written numerous Feng Shui material including workshop and course manuals, ghost written on Feng Shui, and written her first book titled ‘Feng Shui Kua Directions’.
