🔷 "If You Need Me" by the legendary soulful preacher Solomon Burke 🎤

🔷 "Tonight's The Night" by the iconic quartet The Shirelles 💃💃💃💃

With their brand new album called "This Is How You Do It", The Bamboos have done it again. Some awesome tracks on this album that I definitely want to talk about!

And with the other two, we will be spinning the past starting with the legendary Solomon Burke with my favourite album of his. And we'll finish the evening on a beautiful note with The Shirelles and the album "Tonight's The Night" containing many soulful hits 🎶🔥

Stepping out of the soul genre to celebrate a pioneer of rock 'n' roll.

A couple of days ago marked 6 years since Fats Domino's passing.

Antoine Domino aka Cats Domino was a true legend who left an indelible mark on the world of music. With smooth vocals and distinctive piano playing, he was a trailblazer who inspired countless artists and brought people together with his feel-good tunes known for their infectious rhythms like "Blueberry Hill", "Ain't That a Shame" or "I'm Walking.

Let's remember and celebrate the man whose music will forever live on in our hearts ❤️

Ahead of concert next week in Perth, here's a special song.

It connects the Bee Gees, Nina Simone and Otis Redding.

"To Love Somebody" might be my favourite Bee Gees' song. Released in 1967, it was actually written for Otis Redding. Sadly, Otis passed away before having a chance to record the song. I think that song would've been very fitting for him.

Then comes the legendary Nina Simone who released a very special version in 1968 as part of the album also called "To Love Somebody". The song became her second UK hit single and reached #5 on the charts. Enjoy that beautiful rendition!
