Every path teaches you something. I came to Australia young as a refugee and like so many of us with immigrant parents, I grew up believing there was only one “right” formula: school → uni → career → stability. That’s what our parents wanted that for us because it felt safe, their way of protecting us in a world they were still learning to navigate themselves. But as I’ve gotten older, I’ve realised life isn’t linear. Choosing a different path isn’t failure, it’s growth. I have come to realised, there’s so much opportunity outside the traditional route. TAFE and vocational studies open doors to real skills, real careers, and real confidence especially for those of us who don’t fit neatly into a theory based learning environment or want to seek alternative to what they want to do with their life. As an English saying goes, “the world is your oyster”.

My name is Paw Moo Eh, and the purpose of this page is to support Knyaw Poe and Moe & Pa as they guide and encourage their children through life in Australia. Marlow (မၤလိ), my focus is on education, career pathways, and the many opportunities available through university and TAFE, as well as other important aspects of growing up here.

Although I am still young, I have learned a great deal from my own experiences navigating school, further study, and life in Australia. I understand how challenging the transition after high school can be, especially when families are still adjusting to a new country.
That’s why I want Knyaw Poe to know they are not alone. There are many pathways for young people, whether they choose university, TAFE, or go straight into work and careers.

My goal is to share what I’ve learned so families feel supported, informed, and confident as they help their children build a strong future in Australia academically, professionally and personally.
