'Tis the time of year for giving ... so once again the S&L team are supporting Lions Cancer Institute's "Special Children's Christmas Big Day Out'. We are sponsoring a trip to the movies for 6 local children currently in the Perth Children’s Hospital who are struggling through ongoing different stages of Chemotherapy. Hope they have a special day that makes this Xmas a good memory 🎅

City of Perth's Christmas Campaign at the Perth Town Hall looked fantastic and the client was ‘wrapped’ with it how it all looked. It included two freestanding units plus 8 baubles made out of 3mm ali and two pack painted. Beautiful work …Well done to all involved – a real team effort to get this one over the line. ✨✨

This is an incredibly heartfelt story and one that we, as parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, aunties, etc never want to hear or have to face.

Fabian, one of our wonderful S&L crew needs help. His son Leon, aged 3, faces critical heart surgery and it must happen soon. However, Fabian is on a visa so has no access to Medicare. Fabian has worked at Signs & Lines for two years on a work visa. He is one of the kindest, hardest-working people you could ever meet. He came to Australia from Chile since when Fabian and his wife Pauline have welcomed two beautiful children.

Leon, his 3 year old son, now faces critical heart surgery. Without Medicare every hospital visit, every medical bill and every emergency falls squarely on their shoulders and when you are raising children, that reality is terrifying.

Doctors have told them plainly that if Fabian had Medicare, this surgery would already be complete. Instead, they are forced to wait and watch, knowing time is not on their side. The bill for heart surgery is enormous.

Fabian now faces an impossible choice. Fast-track permanent residency in time to access Medicare or somehow find the money to save his child’s life. No parent should ever be placed in this position.

So today spare a thought for Leon. If you can help, even in the smallest way, please consider donating to support Fabian, Pauline and their beautiful little boy. Your contribution could literally change the course of their son’s life.

How lucky are we to have our very own F&B Manager @ . Thanks to the culinary skills of Mr Angerson, our tummies are kept full. Last Wednesday's Big Push Brekkie was delicious - over 40 serves of bacon butties - thanks again Chef!!

These guys... what a week... what a team. Just amazing to watch the bond and teamwork at play every day as the ECU City project gets into its last few weeks. It's been (another) hell'uva week but they continue to shine🌟🌟

How pretty... illumination with LEDs offers endless possibilities. Our 'U' sky sign going up at ECU City in the CBD undergoes some illumination testing in the factory prior to installation. Look at the stunning colour ways. Of course, the final branding will be aligned to the ECU City brand (but it's nice to have a little bit of fun along the way)!!

ECU City is definitely on our mind... Signs & Lines have installed another two sky signs this week. Kudos to our amazing project/ground teams, logistics teams and the crazy guys on the ropes who attach the 500kg signs to the building whilst hanging by a thread. More next week... this stuff is really testing the nerves.
