I know this is a bit long-winded, but I just wanted to take a moment to share how personally excited I am — and we all are as a team — for this Friday's show with Sébastien Léger. This show has been a long time in the making, and as the day approaches, the thrill and gratitude we feel can hardly be put into words.
For those who know us, you’ll know the journey it’s been. Putting on shows like these isn’t always smooth sailing, especially in today’s climate. There have been incredible highs, but we’ve also had setbacks, struggles, and countless moments that tested our patience and perseverance. There have been sacrifices, late nights, and, yes, maybe a few grey hairs! But through it all, our mission has remained unchanged: to bring people together for unforgettable experiences, with music that resonates at a deeper level. Our passion to create events like this – for the sheer love of the music and the community – is what keeps us going.
Above All Else is, and has always been, exactly that. We started this with a genuine love for these moments: those magic hours spent on the dancefloor, sharing in something truly special with everyone in the room. And now, as we look ahead to Friday, we’re not just putting on another gig – we’re creating an experience we hope will stay with you, with all of us, long after the music stops.
If you make it out to just one event this year, let it be this one. I’m saying this without bias – this one is going to be special, a night we won’t forget. To everyone joining us on Friday, get ready – we can't wait to dance with all of you. There’s nothing quite like that feeling of coming together after a long week, raising a glass, and just letting go on the dancefloor.
And if you see me and Dave there, know we’ll be living out our own dreams alongside you, watching it all come to life. We’ll be behind the decks at 7 pm, handing over to Sébastien and then joining you, probably emotional and all smiles, for the rest of the night. Here’s to making memories together – Allez le Seb!
