Hi All, Jodie and I have opened our house and studio to help support our musical community friends while Perth went through venue closures. We ask that you get out and support them as venues slowly open and gigs start to happen again. It was an honour to help Howie Morgan Music record a quick promo for his upcoming Bill Withers show (@ The Duke of George on 8th Aug) in between studio sessions. Social Distancing? ... I've been practising that for years but no one has ever noticed?
I'm a bit of an expert on the subject by now!
Anyone who doesn't know what to do while practising "Social Distancing" take the opportunity to be creative or learn a new skill . It may be the thing that was missing from your life and you didn't even know it? Pick up a guitar ,beat some drums or rattle some pots and pans it doesn't matter just make it you own!
Anyway I don't need an excuse to spend more time in the studio so see you again sometime next year, .G.

As the lid closes and Jazz month draws it's last breath I'd like to thank all the muso's involved but especially a massive thankyou to Bob Hawker for the use of his beautiful piano, to Ben Vanderwal for organising the event.

Has been such an honour recording with James Sandon, Karl Florisson, Harry Mitchell and Ben Vanderwal over the last few weeks ! When you get to work with talent of their calibre it definitely doesn't feel like work at all!!
