b. The role of the British, Au

stralian & New Zealand (Anzac/Light Horse/Mounted Rifles), South African and Indian soldiers during both World Wars in the Eastern Mediterranean region;

c. The activities of Evangelical Christians, be they British, European and American, especially in the land of Israel (Turkish and British Mandate Palestine); and

d. The heritage that all Christians have with Israel through their being in covenant with Jesus, and through the Hebraic roots of the Christian faith.

Happy Reformation Day! 500 years ago today, a disillusioned Roman Catholic Monk nailed 95 thesis onto the door of this church in Germany. The result of that bold move ended in one of the biggest changes in Church history and in the everyday life and faith of the Protestant Christian. Harald Eckert, as quoted in Kelvin's documentary '31st October- Destiny's Date?', says that Luther's proclamations put “…faith in the centre, the Word of God was put in the centre, the faithfulness of God and the grace of God was put in the centre of public debate, of public interest and it drew a lot of people who that were seeking, that were frustrated with faith as it was expressed at their times and it continued over decades, over centuries…”.
