Hai has made it through the first swing of FIFO without losing their mind, survived a marathon of 7 night shifts in a row, adjusted to the crazy FIFO lifestyle, and adapted to working in a whole new industry.

Everything is finally starting to fall into place.

Now I’m moving to totally different area, different lifestyle, different industry… so much for retirement, Chris, you know how to work me hard!! ^.^

Or warm sun, beach with full of people and warm bath water?

Which do you prefer?

Hai grew up in Vietnam, where every beach she had been to is full with people, water always warm to swim.

Whereas, Australia, especially Western Australia, has many beautiful and quiet beaches, water is cold (For Hai)

We love both, what about you?

I've been fortunate enough to return to Vietnam three times this year, spending quality time with loved ones, while Chris kept everything running smoothly at the Cafe.

Family meals are a cornerstone of Vietnamese culture, promoting togetherness and understanding. Having lived in Australia for 18 years, I've cherished these moments even more, especially when my family reunited last July after a decade apart. Sharing meals together was a truly heartwarming experience, made my trips worthwhile

Thank you Cơm Mẹ Nấu for hosting us and cooking delicious meals for us.
