We are very excited to announce that our new author, M.D. Ironwood, has signed a contract with Elephant Page Publishing to release a young adult romance novel 🌹💜
M.D. Ironwood is an author based in Boorloo/Perth, Western Australia, with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing from Curtin University. Michaela has several short works longlisted and published in anthologies and has judged in writing competitions.
She completed Writing WA’s Emerging Writers Program (2024/25) and now sits on the Peter Cowan Writers Centre committee, collaborating on their zine publications as an author, editor and illustrator. Michaela is the Coordinator of the KSP Writers’ Centre, runs a freelance editing business, and teaches creative writing to youth at both KSP and PCWC.
When she’s not crafting tales or attending writing events, you can find Michaela videogaming, singing karaoke, or cooking for friends and family.
