I cried because I ruined my cereal.
I cried because my husband almost finished my Cheetos.
I napped like it was my full-time job.

But somewhere between the exhaustion, nausea, and overwhelming emotion, God was doing something holy.

The first trimester taught me what surrender really looks like.

There’s so much I’ll share in time, but for now—I’ve written a little about those first few weeks and what they meant to me.

I turned 31 on Friday 🩷

This past year stretched me in ways I never expected—but it also grounded me in ways I didn’t know I needed. I’ve let go of things I thought would be forever and found peace in places I never thought I’d call home.

God’s been so kind.
Even in the unknown, even in the quiet—He’s been constant.

Here’s to Chapter 31.
To joy that’s softer, friendships that feel like home, and grace for the days that still feel heavy.

Pregnant. Preparing to move house in 30 days. Grieving friendships I never thought would end. And battling all the anxieties that come with growing a tiny human and wondering if I’m going to be enough.

And yet…
I remind myself daily (sometimes hourly) that God’s already in my tomorrow… even when I’m spiralling in my today.

Also… I started a blog.

Because why not add “oversharing my feelings on the internet” to my list of coping mechanisms? 😅

This week’s post is a messy, honest reflection on trust…
Letting go (even when I really don’t want to)…
And learning to give God control in a season that feels anything but controllable.
